Inspired by the ancestral heritage, bravery, and power of the Amazons of Dahomey (Benin), this performance spotlights fierce, warrior-like women—leading figures embodying indomitable and sacred femininity. Through this collection, Murielle Kabile takes a bold new direction in which kinky, curly, and coily hair (BFC) becomes a living sculpture—a manifesto of resistance and beauty that fuses history with Afrofuturist aesthetics.
